The following statement was posted by Rick Porter at the Fox Hill Farm website:
"Larry and I talked over our options with both the Ladies Classic and The Classic and decided that we will only enter Grace in the Classic.
"We considered entering both so that we could have another option should we draw the 1 hole or if weather conditions looked better for Friday. We decided that she’s earned her way into the Classic and we’d ultimately be dissatisfied if she ran in the Ladies Classic, regardless of the draw or weather conditions.
"She deserves her shot at writing racing history. She is in barn 43 at Churchill now and will breeze 5/8ths Monday around 8AM."
