Switch, who was pre-entered in both the Ladies Classic and the Filly & Mare Sprint, will be entered in the latter race, trainer John Sadler said today.

Today at Churchill Downs, Switch worked five furlongs in 1:00.20 (2/33) under exercise rider Edwin Orozco.

Fractions for the work were :12.00, :24.00 and :36.00. Switch galloped out six furlongs in 1:14.20.

“I was happy with the work,” Sadler said. “She is probably working better than last year when she ran in the Sprint. That’s the race she will be entered in Monday.”

Switch was second in the 2010 Filly & Mare Sprint to now-retired Dubai Majesty. She's finished third at odds-on in her last two starts, one of them at 1 1/16 mile. Last out, she ran in the six-furlong, Grade II TCA at Keeneland.
