Todd Pletcher has eight nominated for the Grade II Hutcheson Stakes on Feb. 11, with two likely to run.

Spring Hill Farm (Worth Watching), owned by Stonestreet Stable, and Thunder Moccasin (Worth Watching), owned by Starlight Racing, are said to be the most likely to start from Pletcher's stable. Each has won a career debut at Gulfstream Park this meet.

Ever So Lucky (Looking Good), owned by Augustin Stable and trained by Jonathan Sheppard, remains on track for the seven-furlong Hutcheson, but his status became a little less clear today.

“We’ll see how he does during the week and how he works. He’s got one more work coming up,” Sheppard said today. "He came back fine (from his Monday workout) and we’re happy with him. He’s trained well on synthetic, and he trained well at Churchill on conventional dirt. He seems to handle this fine. He seems to take things in stride. He’s very adaptable.”

Ever So Lucky has run twice at Churchill Downs, winning his opener and finishing second to Gemologist (Looking Good) in the Grade II Kentucky Jockey Club last Fall.

Later diagnosed with bone bruising, Ever So Lucky was wintering in South Carolina before being shipped to Gulfstream Park almost two weeks ago. He put in a workout at Gulfstream two days ago, and there is one turf workout on Jan. 10 at Camden, S. C. of record at Equibase.

Meanwhile, Graham Motion said today that 2011 Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom will not race on Feb. 11, Donn Handicap day, despite his nomination to the card's Gulfstream Park Turf. Motion said Animal Kingdom is not ready yet. Shackleford and Ruler on Ice, winners of the Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes last year, are gearing up to appear in the Donn.
