Trainer Eddie Kenneally said Santiva, who will make his next start in the Grade I Toyota Blue Grass, remains in Florida at Palm Meadows where he's scheduled to work on Saturday.
Kenneally said the Giant’s Causeway colt would arrive at Keeneland on Sunday or Monday for the April 16 Blue Grass.
Last October, Santiva was second in the Grade I Dixiana Breeders’ Futurity before winning the Grade II Kentucky Jockey Club. He is coming off a second-place finish to Mucho Macho Man in the Grade II Risen Star on Feb. 19 at Fair Grounds. With career earnings of $255,454, Santiva is the leading earner among the probables for the Toyota Blue Grass.
That amount includes $240,254 in graded stakes earnings, which currently ranks Santiva number 17 on the graded stakes earnings list that determines the starters in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands.
