The Factor Sidelined
Bloodhorse.com reports that The Factor has a hairline fracture of a hind ankle.

Bob Baffert and his veterinarian ordered a nuclear scan of The Factor before working him several days ago, according to the story, and it revealed the injury. Baffert maintains it was probably sustained during the running of the Arkansas Derby.

Baffert said the ankle is nearly healed and that The Factor will be pointed to the Grade I King’s Bishop in late August at Saratoga.
