Our Subscription Page Selections--Photo by Eclipse Sportswire
We've looked around at the expert selections and have found "next to no one" who picked Shackleford to perform well in the Preakness. But our subscribers knew that Dick Downey had him number 2 on his Preakness selection list. Animal Kingdom, a Top 4 horse in the Downey Profile Rankings for the Kentucky Derby, was also in Downey's Preakness top 5 list. The $2 exacta paid $114.80. Greg Johnson had Preakness third finisher Astrology in his Preakness top five. Both of them had fourth finisher Dialed In in their selections--Downey had him on top.

Downey's quote from Baltimore: "I decided not to get cute with my ticket and boxed my top five selections in a $12 exacta ticket. It paid $688.80. If I had used the six horses combined from my list and Greg's list, I could have had the superfecta, not to mention the tri, but I'm happy with what I have."
