A full field of 14 is expected for the Grade III TVG Illinois Derby. Entries close on Wedneday. Ten are considered probable, with more than 14 having expressed interest. Here's what we've learned so far.

Expected for the race are:

--Currency Swap, trained by Teresa Pompay. The Grade I Hopeful winner was second to Gemologist at Gulfstream Park last time out;

--Morgan’s Guerrilla, who broke his maiden at Aqueduct for trainer Mike Maker on March 3;

--Our Entourage, who won handily on turf at Gulftream Park last time out for Todd Pletcher.

--Pretension, Christopher Grove's Sweet Envoy winner that was fifth in the Grade III Gotham;

--Ring It Up, fourth in the Grade III Southwest and scratched from the Grade II Rebel;

--Romancing the Gold, an allowance winner at Aqueduct last time out for Jeremiah Englehart;

--Saturday Launch, a March 11 allowance winner at Gulfstream Park for Ken McPeek;

--Slamit, Tim Ice's winnner of the Spring Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge Stakes at Sam Houston on March 10;

--Z Rockstar, a March 16 Oaklawn allowance winner for trainer Donnie Von Hemel.

Trinniberg, runaway winner of the Grade III Swale Stakes for trainer Bisnath Parboo, was being considered but will now go to the Bay Shore and then maybe the Preakness. Jerry Hollendorfer's Longview Drive is possible but may stay at home for the Grade I Santa Anita Derby. Done Talking, tenth in the Gotham for trainer Hamilton Smith, could be in the race.
