Reveron Out of Derby; Trinniberg In

The Tweetiverse says this morning the Reveron sustained a hairline fracture in a workout at Calder this morning, so he's out of the Kentucky Derby. Meanwhile, Shivananda Parbhoo says Trinniberg has gone from 15% to 100% for the Kentucky Derby.

Reveron was cooling out after his breeze and was a little off. An x-ray showed a condylar fissure in his left foreleg that will not require surgery, according to a report on HRTV.

Reveron was sitting at number 21 on the Kentucky Derby graded earnings list, and the defection moves Isn't He Clever up to that spot.

Most recently Reveron finished second in the Grade I Florida Derby for trainer Agustin Bezara. Walter Stipa owns Reveron. Marty McGee of DRF.com said he got the report from Mike Welsch.

Equibase says Reveron's workout was a mile in 1:46.00, breezing.

The allure of the first Saturday in May has proven too much for connections of the sprinter Trinniberg. They say he might not even be on the lead, according to a tweet by DRF.com's Mike Welsch.

Parbhoo is the owner of Trinniberg. He's trained by Bisnath Parboo. Most recently, Trinniberg won the Grade III Bay Shore at Aqueduct. He's never raced beyond seven furlongs.
