Tim Tullock's AMERIGO VESPUCCI (Just In Case) Sunday breezed five in 1:00.60 (1/3) at LRL, handily. Gotham Stakes next.

Rick Violette's CARRIED INTEREST (Just In Case) Carried Interest finished second in a six furlong allowance at Gulfstream Park at 1-2 odds. After dueling with betting second choice Pro Prospect into the stretch, City of Weston, at 9-1, loped past them both. He beat Carried Interest a half-length and Pro Prospect by five. Five ran. Violette was very happy and said the colt would move forward off the effort.

John Sadler's DEMONIC (Worth Watching) miss the Grade II San Felipe Stakes on March 9 with a bruised foot. He hasn't put in a workout since Feb. 11. “He’ll miss the San Felipe,” Sadler told DRF.com. “I’m not sure what we’ll do, but he’ll be fine.”

Al Stall's DEPARTING, (Worth Watching) scratched from the Risen Star, Sunday breezed four in :48.20 (7/120) at FG. Texas Heritage Stakes next.

Dale Romans' DEWEY SQUARE (Just In Case) Sunday breezed for the third time on firm turf, five in 1:00.80 (3/4) at GP. Palm Beach Stakes next.

Danelle Durham's TEXAS BLING (Just In Case) yesterday breezed a bullet eight days after the Southwest Stakes, four in :47.60 (1/84) at OP. Rebel Stakes next.

Todd Pletcher's VERRAZANO (Looking Good) today breezed five in :59.20 (1/36) at PMM. Tampa Bay Derby next.
