Govenor Charlie and Frac Daddy look to be the next Kentucky Derby horse to arrive in Louisville, and they're coming on Tuesday.
Govenor Charlie will arrive late in the morninng on a Tex Sutton flight from California and be vanned to Churchill Downs. He's expected to arrive at Bob Baffert’s Barn 33 between 1:00 to 1:30 ET.
A release from Churchill Downs doesn't mention Super Ninety Nine, who's on the official Derby points list at number 19, or Code West, number 21. Both are trained by Baffert.
Joining Govenor Charlie on Tuesday’s flight will be Sunland Park Oaks winner Midnight Lucky for the Kentucky Oaks. Baffert completed the Sunland Park Oaks – Kentucky Oaks double in 2011 with Plum Pretty.
Trainer Ken McPeek, who has stalls in Barns 6 and 7 at Churchill Downs, said Java’s War and Frac Daddy exited their races in fine form and will be vanned to Louisville this week.
McPeek's Frac Daddy is scheduled to van from Oaklawn Park to Churchill Downs on Tuesday, and Java’s War will ship from Keeneland later in the week, most likely on Thursday, McPeek said.
