HRRN: Eight Hours Preakness Coverage

Horse Racing Radio Network will provide eight hours of Preakness Stakes coverage live from Pimlico beginning Friday. It's the sixth consecutive year the network has covered the classic race.

HRRN’s coverage will climax Saturday with exclusive radio coverage of the 138th Preakness from 5:00 to 7:00 ET.

HRRN ‘s coverage begins Friday with a two hour broadcast of the Grade II Black Eyed Susan and Grade III Pimlico Special from 4:00 to 6:00.  On Saturday, HRRN will host a special Preakness Stakes edition of their popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.  The network’s live race coverage continues Saturday afternoon with Preakness day undercard stakes from 2:00 to 4:00.

Fans can tune in on multiple HRRN affiliates throughout the country as well as on SiriusXM satellite radio and online with live streaming provided on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.  HRRN’s coverage of the Preakness Stakes will also be aired to U.S. service men and women around the globe on the American Forces Network.  A complete listing of affiliates and SiriusXM channel information can be found on the HRRN site.

Additional HRRN programming throughout Preakness week includes “Trainer Talk” on Wednesday afternoon, the “Brisnet.com Call In Show” presented by TwinSpires on Thursday and the “Xpressbet Weekend Stakes Preview” on Friday.  All three shows can be heard live from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sirius 93/XM 209.

HRRN President, Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with analysts Jude Feld and Kurt Becker.  Sean Clancy and Chad Summers will provide live paddock interviews and commentary.
