Social Inclusion Deal Nearing Completion?

Ron Sanchez says a deal to sell an interest in Social Inclusion is in the works; but he's waiting to see if the paper gets inked.

“We’re very close to a deal. The deadline will be tomorrow at 4:00 maybe, because we have to continue to train the horse. If they don’t bring the contract, we’ll breeze the horse and decide where we’re going, and go into the race," Sanchez said Thursday without naming names.

"If they don’t bring the contract, we’ll keep going. I’m a risk taker,” said Sanchez.

The Manny Azpurua-trained 3-year-old son of Pioneerof the Nile has won his only two starts, both of them at Gulfstream Park, and turned heads setting a new track record last week his first time going two turns.

Sanchez has stated publicly he's interested in selling a 75 percent interest in Social Inclusion. He paid $60,000 for the horse at Keeneland when he was a yearling.

Caton Bredar tweeted late Thursday afternoon that Azpura told her Social Inclusion will breeze Saturday or Monday. TVG tweeted the Sanchez has turned down $8 million but did not specify how much of the horse would have been sold at that price. The Paulick Report claimss that Sanchez countered with $15 million.
