Back in the Palm Beach: Night Prowler, Croninthebarbarian, Divisidero

3/1/2015

Chad Brown scratched Night Prowler from the Palm Beach when it was taken off the turf due to rain, but now that the race is going to be recarded, he'll be back.

The Palm Beach was eventually cancelled due to a torrential downpour, and Brown said Sunday he'll re-enter the gelding when the race is redrawn Wednesday.

“He’ll have a little breeze tomorrow, and then he’ll be ready when they redraw the race,” Brown said.

Croninthebarbarian and Divisidero are also among the horses that will re-enter the Palm Beach.

“He’s been training really well,” Zack Simms, assistant to trainer Gary Simms, said of Croninthebarbarian. “I think now we just keep him fresh and try to make a run at them again next week.”

“He’ll probably breeze a little bit on Tuesday – nothing much, but maybe just put a little half in him,” Buff Bradley, trainer of Divisidero, added.
