Kentucky Derby runner-up Exaggerator arrived at Pimlico Race Course on Sunday afternoon after an uneventful van ride from Kentucky.
Exaggerator will seek to defeat Nyquist for the first time in five meetings in Saturday's Preakness. He came up 1 1/14 length short in the Kentucky Derby.

The trip took 10 hours and 15 minutes. “The weather was cool, and the traffic was really good,” assistant trainer Julie Clarke said. Exaggerator's home in Baltimore is stall 21 in the Preakness Stakes barn.
Monday's schedule is light. Exaggerator is scheduled to walk the shedrow and might get some paddock schooling.
The son of Curlin won the Santa Anita Derby on a sloppy track with a huge closing run. As of Monday morning, there's a 70 percent chance of rain in Baltimore.
