Triple Crown-nominated Derma Louvre (JPN) and Master Fencer (JPN) are among 10 horses scheduled to run in Sunday’s one-mile Hyacinth Stakes at Tokyo Racecourse.

Derma Louvre, a son of Pyro owned by Hiroyuki Asanuma, finished second in the Zen-Nippon Nisai Yushun on the Japan Road to the Kentucky Derby in mid-December. The colt, trained by Hirofumi Toda, has a record of 5-3-1-0 with $447,672 in purse earnings.
Master Fencer sports a two-race win streak for trainer Koichi Tsunoda and owner Katsumi Yoshizawa.
There were four horses from Japan nominated to the Triple Crown. Romantico (JPN) and Zeruch (JPN) were not entered in the Hyacinth.
From the Japan Road to the Derby, only one invitation to compete in the Kentucky Derby will be extended, with preference given to the horses with the most points in the series.
The Japan Road to the Kentucky Derby concludes March 31 with the Fukuryu Stakes at Nakayama.
