Somelikeithotbrown took it to 'em in the Jeff Ruby Steaks at Turfway Park, leading at almost every call and winning by 3 1/4 lengths as the 3-5 favorite.

After Five Star General fought for the early advantage with a quarter-mile run in 23.61, Somelikeithotbrown and Tyler Gaffalione would have none of it and went on lead in fractions of 47.03, 1:10.78 and 1:37.84 en route to a final time of 1:52.05.

Dynamic Racer, never worse than third, finished second at 45-1. Another 1 1/4 length back at the finish was the closing 59-1 longshot Moonster, who was 10th of 11 runners, 13 lengths in arrears, after six furlongs. It was two more lengths back to Five Star General in fourth.

Those four were followed across the wire by Dabo, Speed App, Counter Offer, Skywire, Curlin Grey, Twelfthofneverland and Baytown Jimbo.

Trainer Mike Maker got his fifth victory of this race. The top two finishers finished in the same order in the John Battaglia Memorial at Turfway last month.

Kentucky Derby points are awarded as follows: 20 to Somelikeithotbrown, 8 to Dynamic Racer, 4 to Moonster and 2 to Five Star General. Dynamic Racer's points will be hypothetical unless he is late-nominated to the Triple Crown.

The winner returned his backers $3.20, $2.60 and $2.60 on win, place and show tickets.
