The Downey Profile Rankings

Apri 26 NOTE: Updated with Tappan Street's injury unfortunately taking him out of the Derby. His removal from the field takes Journalism's top spot in the Rankings to an even more dominant level. I do not recall such a towering lead in the Rankings. Tappan Street was in the Top 4; East Avenue takes his place in the Top 4. Render Judgment is now in the Derby. Barring a surprise, Baeza and California Burrito will be the only two also-eligibles.

April 26 NOTE: Tappan Street sustained an unfortunate injury requiring surgery, putting Render Judgment in the field. California Burrito will go in the Pat Day Mile.

April 25 NOTE: Built is out and Neoequos is in. Next in line are Render Judgment, Baeza and California Burrito.

April 18 NOTE: Madaket Road is out of the Derby and is being pointed to the Pat Day Mile.

April 16 NOTE: Owen Almighty was going to the Derby, then the Pat Day Mile, and now the Derby again. Owner decision. He ranks in the bottom tier. California Burrito's camp appears to be looking for a spot in the Derby starting gate.

April 15 NOTE: River Thames defects. He was rated in the bottom group of the Profile with 2.79 points or less. Built is the last one in the Derby at this point. If he defects, Neoequos is the next one in.

April 14 NOTE: Audit revealed error in Rodriguez' point total, now 7th instead of 6th.
